KJ Scriven is honored to serve as the Lead Pastor of Heal House Community Church alongside his wife, Kira. Together, they have planted deep roots in the Charlotte region for over a decade and have a huge heart for the Greater Charlotte community.

KJ grew up in Fayetteville, NC, while Kira has called Charlotte home since birth. They are blessed with two children: Allyson, 9, who loves art, singing, dancing, and music, and Xander, 3, whose energy keeps everyone on their toes.

Both KJ and Kira have extensive backgrounds as ministers of music. KJ is a Grammy and Dove award-winning songwriter and artist, and three years ago they started a praise and worship movement called Worship Unplugged. While God has richly blessed this ministry, they felt a clear calling to build a local church.

KJ, a 3rd-generation pastor, has a deep passion for teaching the Scriptures—not for entertainment, but to equip the people of God for ministry and help them grow in maturity and unity in Christ (Ephesians 4:11–13).

Heal House Community Church officially launched on January 26, 2025, with a focus on discipleship, connection, and making a Kingdom impact in the community.
